Boyle's Tourism Potential

I have frequently referred to Boyle's Tourism Potential.
It remains a mystery to me as to why more is not made of the beautifully poignant, locally based Legend of Úna Bhán [here...]
• A long term plan for expansion of the "Lough Key Experience" could include buying and refurbishing Castle Island on a phased basis that would allow for having it as a venue to which a people-carrier boat could ferry visitors to enjoy daytime/night-time meal and dramatic re-enactment, with song story and dance of the Legend of Úna Bhán ...our own "Bunratty Castle"
• An interim suggestion might be that the Moylurg Rockingham Company develop its existing, almost redundant "Moylurg Room" in the Visitor Centre to house an Úna Bhán re-enactment either live or on a screen.
• "Dream on" you might say, but if Ros Co Co can get €18 million for new offices in Roscommon town, then anything is possible in a spirit of good will towards Boyle
