155 anglers from far and near, and
a host of interested viewers helped Boyle & District
Angling Club celebrate the 20th running of its
Saturday / Sunday Easter Pike Angling Competition
on Lough Key. Record-breaking local angler Michael Egan
came first winning €3,000, a magnificent Silver Trophy
and a heavy duty Club All-Weather Jacket.
