Lough Key Forest & Activity Park is proud to be hosting its 8th Annual Play Day as part of National Playday in conjunction with the County Childcare Committee and Roscommon Sports Partnership.
It all taking place on Sunday 5th July between 2pm-6pm
It will be Officially Opened by Cathaoirleach of Roscommon Councillor Paddy Kilduff
The theme for 2015 is ‘Natural Play’
The focus this year is on creating opportunities for play that involves natural elements and environments–water, sand, trees, rocks, beaches etc.
Activities on the day will include
· The Adventure Play Kingdom
· Parachute Games
· Hip Hop Dancing & Irish Dancing demonstration
· Soccer, Fun & Games
· Big Blue Play Bus
· Storytelling 3pm & 4pm
Children must be accompanied by Parents/Guardians
A new addition to the event this year is the
‘Inflatable Adventure Trail’...
The Castlerea Festival will be sending its inflatable’s to Lough Key for the day.
Follow the sounds and music to find where the characters are.
You never know what you will find hidden among the trees on the forest trails or what might find its way to the top of the Moylurg Viewing Tower....??
All of this is between 2pm and 6pm and FREE.
