ROPN meeting next Thursday at 11.30am

The Roscommon Older People Network (ROPN) seeks to raise local concerns and issues of importance for older people in the county. We can achieve this by lobbying for change together with organising training and combating ageism through awareness campaigns. We would be delighted if you can attend a short session to help us in the quest to identify needs and develop a plan to benefit older people in the Boyle area. The meeting will be on Thursday May 7th at 11.30am in St Joseph’s Resource Centre, Boyle.

Grainne Caldbeck's 40th

P5032976

Grainne Caldbeck and her husband Derek are two of Boyle's talented stage performers, actors and singers. Grainne and Derek are proprietors of 'Enhance Health & Beauty' salons in Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon. Grainne was joined by family and a large group of friends to celebrate her 'significant' birthday with style, in Daly's Lounge, Sunday 4th May. Derek assembled a group of excellent musicians who entertained us with 'Sinatra-style' classics from the past. Enda Regan was there 'snapping pics' and I took just a small number of photos but look forward to sharing his on Facebook ...
