The second gate

The Second Gate

A first piece of good news for Boyle features in John Mulligan's "The Kettle's Boyled" column in the Roscommon Herald this week. "Following a conversation local TD Frank Feighan and I had with an Taoiseach last May about the condition of the Rockingham Gate Lodge, Frank set up a meeting with Coillte to make some progress. He continued the dialogue over intervening months, and on Friday was able to tell me that this appears to have borne fruit. Coillte has had constructive discussions with the Landmark Trust and the County Council to secure the future of this iconic building.
Well done Frank Feighan, a bit of good news for Boyle this week."
