Breastfeeding Class - next Thursday
Thursday 14th of November, 6.30 to 9.30pm. Get breastfeeding off to a good start with a class facilitated by Pauline Mc Loughlin Midwife and Lactation Consultant at the Family Life Centre,
Boyle. The class will cover topics such as breastfeeding basics of positioning and latch, impact of birthing on breastfeeding, making a good milk supply, how to maintain a good milk supply, how to know when baby is getting enough milk, coping with nights, what makes for a contented baby, expressing breastmilk, out and about and breastfeeding and connecting with community resources.
• Cost is €65 including handouts, refreshments, and follow up consultation when baby is born.
• Partners welcome to attend. Class size small to facilitate discussion.
