Sadly the word spread around town last night that Boyle resident and familiar figure Joan Mullaney, formerly of Main Street had died.
Sister of Noel Mullaney and Marie Harvey, Boyle. Reposing at Mahon’s Funeral Home, from 3-6pm on Sunday, arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, for 7pm. Funeral mass at 11am on Monday with burial afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery. May Joan Rest In peace

Water charges will be capped for families for six months to allow them get used to paying for the water.
* Where water is unfit for human consumption, affected customers will receive a 50% discount on the water supply charge for the duration of the restriction.
