Near the front of the reindeer herd (after a lack-lustre opening sequence) is the excellent "A Very Murray Christmas", with, as the title suggests, the nearly universally loved Bill Murray and a cast of famous and fabulously talented friends ... superb pianist Paul Shaffer, suave George Clooney and Miley Cyrus singing an amazing version of "Silent Night" .... WOW! she will add to her multitude of fans!!
Politically active in 2016
This Christmas, Elphin diocese Bishop Kevin Doran remembers people who have been flooded out their homes in the region, as well as the refugees from the Middle East and homeless people across the country. He is encouraging people to be politically active during the coming year and encourage the government to deal with these issues in 2016.

FoodCloud is non-profit social enterprise that connects businesses that have surplus food with charities in their community that need it. Under their scheme, nearly 16,900 meals will be distributed in Longford this Christmas, while 770 meals will be distributed in Roscommon and 15 meals will be delivered in Leitrim.
