Golf Classic /Coffee Morning for Alzheimer’s Society
Boyle Golf Club will host a Golf Classic/Coffee Morning in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society on this October Weekend, Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Monday 26th. Classic format is a four team rumble with a cost per team of €100 including hot meal. Tee times can be booked on line at www.boylegolfclub.com or by calling 086 864 5797.
The Coffee Morning & Cake Sale will take place in the clubhouse on Saturday 24th commencing at 10.00am. A raffle will take place over the weekend with prizes including two tickets to Leinster V Connacht in the RDS on New Year’s Day. For Individuals or businesses interested in offering support or sponsorship please contact club captains Sandra on 086 851 2191 or Michael on 086 864 5797. All support is appreciated.

James SHIVNAN R.I.P.
The death has occurred of James SHIVNAN - Shivnan's Horseshoe Bar and Hackney Service. Peacefully at his home, following a brief illness and in the tender care of his devoted wife, family and a dedicated Palliative Care Team. Beloved son of the late Tom and Bea.
May he rest in peace.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Mary, daughters Sarah, Emma, her partner Thomas and Marie, brothers Tommie and Michael, sisters Kathleen, Bridie, Betty, Evelyn and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and his large circle of friends. Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon on Thursday afternoon from 3.00 o’clock until 9.00 o’clock. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyfarnon on Friday afternoon, arriving 1.45 o’clock, for Mass of Christian Burial at 2.00 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Kilronan Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Sligo Cancer Support Centre or Mayo/ Roscommon Palliative Care Centre. House strictly private please

• You might even have your nails painted and look the part for Bank Holiday weekend.
