update 24th January

CoderDojo in Boyle at 3pm

CoderDojo Boyle, a computer coding club for young people, will open in Boyle Enterprise Centre, Quarry Lane, Boyle this Saturday. The club provides an opportunity for young people from as young as 10 to learn how to code, develop websites, apps, games and more in a fun environment. Young people interested in attending this free club should attend, with their parents, for registration at Boyle Enterprise Centre on Sat. 24th Jan at 3pm. Spaces are limited and young people who are not registered will not be allowed to attend.
• Coder Dojos are set up, run and taught by volunteers, allowing members to meet like-minded people and share ideas. We have a number of mentors on-board already, giving of their time freely, but if you are interested in becoming a mentor please call in on Saturday at 3pm to meet the team and share your expertise.

The Guardian reports that Irish comedian Sharon Hogan and John Sessions will also appear on the Sky1 show when it returns on March 2.
