Jobs for Boyle
Five new jobs have been created in Boyle, with the establishment of a new local business. SubTeacher.ie has been established by Boyle native, Kyle McLoughlin. The website and app was set up in response to the need for secondary schools to have access to suitably qualified Teaching Council registered substitute teachers. The Taoiseach officially launched the business on his recent visit to Boyle.
Ten jobs could be created in Boyle if Australian company IFS Smartfreight sets up here. The group's CEO met the Taoiseach on his recent visit to Boyle, along with local Fine Gael TD Frank Feighan.

Roscommon Herald Facebook, Feighan/McDermott
Realboyle wasn't there, but on the Roscommon Herald Facebook page Gerry Coffey Auctioneer wrote: "This man is a bye election candidate and his name is John McDermott and he jumped in on top of Frank Feighan as he was opening the door of the car. He and his protesters were shouting and roaring and a car belonging to a McDermott supporter parked out side the FG office decked out in stickers - this was a publicity stunt by the HAC. If McDermott wanted to meet Enda Kenny he should have a bit of manners and not act like a thug unlike most people making comments on social media that don't know all the facts. I witnessed it all as I was standing outside the office. Other candidates and their supporters were across the road and they didn't act like McDermott for a cheap bit of publicity.
