Shane Curran - "Cake"

Cake by Shane Curran

I had the pleasure of sharing the Friday Panel on Shannonside FM with Roscommon GAA legend Shane Curran last week.
Shane's new book is an autobiography of a passionate, outspoken sportsman and entrepreneur. "Brave, honest and hilarious, and full of entertaining yarns and challenging observations on the state of the GAA and the world, Cake tells the story of an Irish sportsman who has lived the dream in his own utterly original way."
Add this great read to your Book List... Chris O'Dowd refers to Shane Curran [here...]

Repairs to Boyle Bridge

Boyle Bridge RepairsShane Feely at Boyle Bridge © realboylephotos

Shane Feely and Feelystone Ltd., Boyle are carrying out excellent repair work on the damaged Boyle Bridge. In addition to repairs, craftsmen at Feelystone had to carve four new pillars similar to the existing ones. Shane tells me works will be completed quickly. The repairs will be noticable for a time, but will age gracefully.
Contractors will also replace the footpaths on both sides of the bridge
