Iarnrod Eireann plans to make changes to Dublin/Sligo train schedules that also service Boyle. The proposed changes are still in draft form, likely to come into force from the end of February and include the following:
• Monday to Friday: We will still have 7 each way services. The first morning train will be at the earlier time, 6.07am in Boyle. On Fridays there will be one extra Connolly to Sligo service leaving Dublin at 4.20pm.
• Saturday/Sunday: We will have 6 each way services, 7.31am, the early one from Boyle.
