Ireland's Toughest Muckers - [here...]

P7190103

Ireland's Toughest Muckers is a 10km obstacle challenge set in the stunning location of Lough Key Forest Park in Boyle. For its 130 competitors from all over ireland, the challenge was tough, dirty, sweaty, wet, but most of all it was fun. 20 natural and imaginatively created manmade obstacles designed by our award winning firemenmade this a unique event.
I spoke with event organiser Darren O'Flaherty who told me that he and his dedicated team spent many hours over the past 3/4 months setting up this expensive, well-thought-out spectacular challenge. "We hope to run Muckers as an annual event ... maybe even twice a year, and have planned the next Toughest Muckers at Halloween, later this year" Photos [here...]
