The following were the €20 winners in our most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in the Moylurg Inn;- Tommy Vesey, Stephen Langan, Deirdre Purcell, Darren O’Connor, Louise Brady and Gillian Cleary. The house prize was won by Vincent Flanagan. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will reach the substantial figure of €7,000 for Saturday night’s draw which will be held in Dodd’s Bar. Team E will be in charge.
The U12s had a great win over St Brigids in the Division 1 League on Sunday in the Abbey Park. The second team will play Kilmore in the Division 5 League on Saturday next at 11.30am in the Abbey Park.
The U16s drew with Eire Og  and had a narrow loss to Castlerea St Kevins in the Division 3 Championship during the week.. They are scheduled to play Michael Glavey's in the next round of this competition in Ballinlough on Wednesday at 6.45pm
The National Automation Limited Minors are scheduled to play Michael Glavey's in the Abbey Park on Sunday next at 12 noon in the Division 3 championship.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney’s Centra Juniors had a convincing win over Kilglass Gaels in the Junior B Championship in a wet Kilglass on Wednesday evening last. They were given a walkover from Padraig Pearses in the next round of the competition. They are awaiting news of their next involvement in this competition.
The McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors lost narrowly to Castlerea St Kevins in the County Senior Championship Play-off in Strokestown on Sunday. It was a game that could have gone either way. Boyle Club wishes the Castlerea lads the best of luck in the remainder of the Championship. Although Boyle has bowed out of the Senior Championship, the targets set at the start of the season--to maintain senior status in both league and championship, have been achieved, and it is the ambition to build on this foundation in 2015.
There will be an important meeting of the Senior Club on this Tuesday at 9pm in the Club Room.
Ticket sales for the Fuel Draw will be drawing to a close in the coming week and those who have cards are asked to return completed cards and money to Treasurer Mary Smith. Those wishing to purchase tickets may do so by contacting any Club officer.
The Club is offering opportunities to fully paid up Club members to purchase tickets for the  All Ireland Senior Hurling Final. Expressions of interest must be made to Club Secretary Mary Clifford by email to secretary.boyle.roscommon@gaa.ie or by text to 086 816 4541 not later than 7pm on this Thursday.
Congratulations are extended to senior team mentor Ciaran Supple and his bride Victoria Walker who got married at the weekend and to Cianan Conboy who married Lisa Martin also at the weekend.
