Junior Cert Results out today

Today, the 60,327 in the Junior Cert class of 2014 receive their results, including four who achieved 12As at higher or common level. Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan led the congratulations to the class of 2014, their parents and teachers. Read more[here...]

Apple's new iPhone and Apple Watch

At an event in California, Apple CEO Tim Cook said: "Today we're launching the biggest advancement in the history of iPhone." The new iPhone 6 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch screen, compared to the four-inch screen of the current generation iPhone 5s. Apple also introduced the iPhone 6, which is also larger, now coming with a 4.7-inch screen. Both devices also have what Apple call "ion-strengthened glass" screens.
The Apple Watch was described as a comprehensive health and fitness interface, and the traditional watch crown, which Apple calls the Digital Crown, is used to control the interface. [read more...]

Boyle Scouts Registration Night

Registration Night for all New and Existing members will be held on Wednesday 17th September between 7.00 and 9.00pm in the Scout Den. All Parents who wish to enrol a child for the coming year must please register them on this night.
Please note that while we are accepting registration of New Members, places will be dependent on returning member numbers and therefore cannot be immediately guaranteed.
Weekly meetings will resume the following week, beginning Monday 22nd September. Anyone who may be interested in becoming a Leader in any of the Sections would be most welcome and can contact the Group Leader on 086 836 0222 or any Leader.

Yoga Classes

Yoga commencing Tuesday 16th Sept in Convent Primary School Gym. 7.30 for Ladies and 9pm for Men. Please bring a rug or mat. Contact Liz at 086 869 0804

Boyle Camera Club meeting, 8pm tonight

Following the summer recess, Boyle Camera Club monthly meetings will resume tonight at 8pm in St. Joseph's Resource Centre, Abbeytown.
Boyle Camera Club was founded in October 2007 and currently has more than 60 members.
"We aim to provide opportunities for members to expand their knowledge of photography, develop their skills and join like-minded enthusiasts for presentations, monthly motivations, photo shoots, field-trips and exhibitions. The Club provides a forum to discuss photography and related topics of interest at all levels. We have special group activities for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced members." The club welcomes new members!
