Ticketmaster issued a statement last night, delaying the beginning of the refunding process to ticket-holders. "Ticketmaster understands that negotiations to try and find a resolution to the Garth Brooks concerts situation are still ongoing," the company's short statement began. "As a result, Ticketmaster will be delaying commencement of the refunds process until Thursday, July 17th. We would ask fans to continue to be patient and to hold onto their tickets for now."

Boyle GAA Update
It was a relatively quiet week at Club level. The U14s lost to Western Gaels in the Division 2 Championship. Their next outing is away to St. Dominics this Thursday in the next round of the championship. The U12s are scheduled to play St Brigids on Sunday next the 20th at 1pm in Kiltoom in the Spring League Final Division 1. The U16s defeated Kilbride in Kilbride in the Division 3 Championship. Their next outing will be on 30th July against Castlerea.

"Will you find one suitable candidate for priesthood in each deanery between now and Easter and invite him to contact me or one of the members of the vocations team," he said.
Bishop Doran (61) was ordained by his predecessor Bishop Christopher Jones at a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 people at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Sligo.

Our Open Week was a great success. At the final presentation Club Captain Padraig O’Connell thanked everyone for their great support. He specially thanked all the sponsors for their generosity and urged members to give them support. He thanked the organising committee for a great week adding that it was great to see so many members and visitors on the course. The groundsman Charlie Beirne was thanked for the great condition of the course with special mention for Michael Rush and all the volunteers.

This year's Cairde le Cheile was another great success, and a well organised event for a worthy charity, North West Hospice. Ideal weather, a large entry, the 'home' base at Saddler's Inn in Kingsland was perfect and the organising committee demonstrated once again what can be achieved by a local community. The format was similar to last year: a 6km Run, a 10km Run and a 'Walkers'.
