Boyle Bridge

One side of Boyle Bridge has now bee repaired and preparations are beng made to lay a new footpath. Congratulations to NRA contractors Jons Civil and Feelystone, Boyle who repaired damaged sections of the bridge

Trad Session in Dodd's Crescent Bar

There will be a Trad Session in Dodd's Crescent Bar on Friday night starting around 10pm. A huge thank you to all at the last session's €115 raised for Trocaire.

Dinner Dance in London

Roscommon Association in London will hold their Annual Dinner Dance on Saturday, October the 18th at 7.30. The venue is The Irish Centre, Murray St., Camden Town. Tickets are £35 and can be had from Anne at 079 73217206. Music by Barry Owen.

Text Alert Scheme launch tonight

Tawnytaskin Deerpark Corrigeenroe Text Alert Scheme official launch date is Wednesday 15th October at 8.30pm in Tawnytaskin Centre just off the N4. Garda Michael Pilkington Liaison Officer Boyle Garda Station and Serrgeant Paul Mc Dermott Crime Prevention Officer Roscommon will be in attendance on the night and will be available to speak to anybody who has concerns re safety of their property.
All signed up members to this Scheme are welcome on the night and anybody in the area who wishes to join this scheme is very welcome to come along and get information on the night. You will have an opportunity to join on the night if you wish.  

"A Delicate Wilderness" book launch in Creighton's

"A Delicate Wilderness - The Life and Loves of David Thompson." How fitting that Julian Vignoles author of “A Delicate Wildness” should choose Creighton’s bar in the John Cryan building as the perfect venue for his book signing October 25th, 2014 at 4.00pm.

Boyle Community Games

Boyle Community Games will hold it’s AGM this Friday 17th October at 8.30pm in G.A.A. Clubhouse. We have had great successes again this year both locally and nationally, well done to all the children and volunteers who have worked so hard.

Three books of particular Boyle interest will be available in the near future, and well before Christmas. You might consider adding one or all to your 'must have Christmas present list'.
