"Moone Boy The Blunder Years" is the book written by Chris O'Dowd and Nick Murphy. They will attend a book signing on Thursday October 23rd in King House, 10am to 12pm. All will be welcome ... come along and get your book(s) signed by Chris and Nick. The book will be a great family Christmas present! 

Boyle Golf Club - Update 19th October
Winter League winners, Michael Simon and Paddy McLoughlin. Gary Carty and Michael Rush were 2ndand Michael Reid and Lionel Lynn came 3rd . Daily prize winners were Sean Heslin and Ted Hestor, Gerry Carty and Eamon Perry, and Charlie O’Donnell and Tish Perry. Thanks for all who took part and special thanks to Michael Rush for organising.
• The weekly nine hole was won by Owen Garvin 22pts, 2nd James Shivnan 21pts.Next weekend's is a club fundraiser, played Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday Monday. Format will be a three ball “Shambles”, entry is €15 per person with a €5 re-entry. The weekly nine hole runs from Monday to Saturday.
• The 16th teebox is being extended and the bunkers are out of play. They will be re-sanded in new year.
• Club EGM, Sunday November 9th. The AGM’s of the Ladies and Mens Club on the same day, Sunday December 7th.

Tommy Kenoy - Insiders TV on Tuesday

Insiders on RTE TV on Tuesday at 7 will deal with Roscommon’s Tommy Kenoy and his drive to open up Croke Park to rugby and soccer during the rebuilding of the Aviva stadium and the eventual visit of the Queen of England to Croke Park.
