FCA Visitor Centre Launch:
The Visitor Centre at the 19th Infantry Battalion FCA Association will be launched on Sunday 26th October at 6.30pm by Colonel Brendan McAndrew, ADC to President Michael D Higgins. Col McAndrew is a Ballymote native and served previously with the 19th Battalion. The event will be attended by members of the Battalion, the county Librarian, armed forces personnel and specially invited guests.

The town has been buzzing with rumours that the Royal Hotel was sold to a local businessman. However, current information suggests that the hotel contents are currently being removed and the site cleaned up ahead of an auction by receivers Grant Thornton.

RosWIN Masquerade Ball & Casino Night
RosWIN is a business network for women in Roscommon. Each year we hold a fund raising event for a local charity or group. This year we have chosen Jigsaw Roscommon which is a support group for young people with mental health issues. They do great work and we hope to raise some much needed funds for them. We will hold a Masquerade Ball and Casino Night on Friday 24th October in Hannon's Hotel, Roscommon.
