Boyle Golf Club update - October 5th 2014
The Winter League commenced with Gary Carty and Michael Rush on 46pts. Two teams Sean Heslin and Ted Hestor and Michael Simon and Paddy McLoughlin are joint second on 43pts. Last week’s nine hole was won by Michael Reid with 23pts, 2nd Michael Gilmartin 23pts. Joint top of the leader board after four weeks are Michael Reid and Charlie O’Donnell both on 82pts.
Competitions for this week are the second round of the Winter League from Thursday to Sunday. Format will be a Fourball Betterball. The weekly nine hole can be played Monday – Sunday.
Well done to our Ladies who won the Roscommon Cup in Ballaghadereen last weekend. The team were Tish Perry, Liz Dwyer, Moira Egan, Kathleen Candon, Susan O’Mahoney, Mary O’Hara and Aisling Gaughran

Two Hole in One’s at Boyle Golf Club
Michael Gilmartin wrote: Thursday was a historic day at Boyle Golf Club when there were two hole in ones by two Michaels on the same day. First up was Michael Rush on the 4th in the morning followed by Michael Simon on the 3rd in the evening. It was the first hole in one for both players and they plan to duly celebrate on Sunday.
