Pete Walsh R.I.P.
Our dear friend Pete Walsh died during the night following a long illness.. Pete will have been know to visitors to Lough Key as owner and former skipper of the "Trinity" tour boat on Lough Key. Everyone who knew Pete will be stunned at the news, just as I am, that this jovial man who enhanced our community in so many ways will not be with us into the future.
• Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernadette, sons Colm, Damien and Barry, daughters Catriona and Lisa. sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
• Reposing at his home in Ardcarne on Friday afternoon from 2.00 o’clock until 10.00 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Cootehall arriving for Mass of Christian Burial at 11.00 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Ardcarne Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Oncology Unit, Sligo Regional Hospital. House private please on Saturday morning.

Courthouse AGM deferred to December 4th
The Annual General Meeting of Boyle Courthouse Development Committee was set for the Enterprise Centre tonight, but has again been deferred until 8pm on Thursday, 4th December in the Enterprise Centre. The reason for the deferral is awaiting the Lease Agreement from Roscommon County Council. Everybody is welcome to attend the AGM.
