Work experience for Spanish students
Annie Curbelo Lang wrote: "I work with an Irish company NBTI (National Business Training Institute) and we collaborate with a Spanish company Coliavent. Most of the students study outdoor pursuits and 12 are studying basic office studies.I am in the process of sending students to Lough Key Forest Park and to EBT Electric Bike Trails.
I need more placements and in particular for the basic office students. They can do data inputting, filing and some telephone work. Hope you can help us find more work placements. Email soulheal@gmail.com "

Mobile cinema in Boyle, Tuesday 11th November
Cinemobile is Ireland’s mobile cinema, bringing the magic of movies to towns, villages and communities throughout the island of Ireland. Cinemobile is an ingenious machine – it looks exactly like an ordinary articulated truck but in less than an hour converts into a 100 seater cinema.
The cinema is here showing film and conducting workshops for schools in the area as part of National Science Week. Tomorrow it will be in Carrick-on-Shannon.
