An 89th minute goal was enough to give Boyle Celtic FC a win over Calry Bohemians F.C. in the final of the Radisson Blu Cup on Sunday afternoon.

Ireland's Toughest Muckers 2015
Ireland's Toughest Muckers 2015 was another great event - and in perfect weather conditions, mild and dry on Saturday, 13th June 2015 in Lough Key Forest Park. Congratulations and very well done to all of the competitors, marshals, helpers, DJ Francis Candon, advertisers and especially to Darren Flaherty and his family for organising this excellent, seriously testing event.

Many thanks to Tony Conboy for sending me this classic Italia '90 photo taken by the late Christy Regan. You will doubtless recognise names: O'Connor, O'Donohue, O'Donnell, Conboy, Tiernan, Murray and so many more who are now valued Boyle Community adults and some who are far away over the sea ... note Chris O'Dowd is the youngster at the bottom right of this great photo.
Tony wrote: ‘I missed Italia ’90 I was in Italy’. I use here one of my favourite pictures and it is of the Forest View ‘gang’ of that time in celebratory mood after the Romania penalty shoot-out. The picture was taken by Christy Regan. I have all the names but the two people on the right obscured by the flag. One is a girl with a ‘Fair Isle’ type cardigan and the other a teenage boy. If anyone can come up with their names then I have the complete set.

Girls U8 soccer
Girls U8 soccer will continue for the next few weeks at Boyle Celtic AstroTurf pitch on Saturday from 12:00-1:00. All girls aged 5-8 are welcome.

Forecasters say the sunny weather will fade for the weekend with falling temperatures on Saturday and Sunday. This week will start with dry, sunny weather.
