Bonfire Night - Who remembers the Goatskin Band?

People of my generation and some even younger will remember fondly Annie and Dudley Sharkey and the Goatskin Band. The combined sounds of accordeon and bodhrán were familiar on Bonfire Night as large local audiences gathered first at the Mockmoyne junction with St Patrick Street. I can clearly picture Annie in her dark red coat, playing out popular tunes of the 50's and early 60's. Later in the night The band moved down to McDonagh's Corner and played on to the early hours. These were great times...
The Bonfire tradition is still carried to this day, and has gone through various reincarnations, notably those at Greatmeadow, Abbey Heights, Mockmoyne and nowadays at the Lough Keel Scout Camp in Rockingham
