Attention all Coder Dojo participants

Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon Coder Dojos will hold a joint event with Microsoft this Saturday 28th March in King House, Main St., Boyle at 2.30pm. Guest Speaker for the event will be Stephen Howell ‎Academic Engagement Manager at Microsoft. Stephen will present on a number of topics including:

Building a game in Project Spark
Writing Kinect games in Scratch
Making touch based games in TouchDevelop (older kids)

The presentation will last for approximately 1 hour and is a great opportunity for your child to get a look at some future developments in games programming. Limited places are available for children who have not already registered for classes, but all children/teenagers wishing to attend must reply to this email to boylecoders@gmail.com with subject line Coder Dojo Microsoft Spark Event asap to confirm your attendance.

Please note there is no need to bring a laptop to the event. Also as a result of the event there will be no Coder Dojo groups meeting in Boyle on this Saturday 28th
