St. Joseph's Hall, Boyle: David Casey, Enda Smith, Tadhg Lowe, Donie Smith presented medals, plaques, t-shirts and tops to last year’s winning underage teams and their mentors. Coaches, parents, members of Boyle GAA and friends were present for the awards while club executives Martin Dolan and Len Sutton were masters of ceremony assisted by team leaders and committee members. Later, light refreshments were served to one and all.

The death has occurred of Dr. Pat MCHUGH, Athlone Road, Roscommon, (Peacefully), surrounded by his family. Reposing at his home on Saturday from 3 o'c until 7 o'c a nd again on Sunday from 3 o'c until 7 o'c. Removal on Monday morning to the Sacred He art Church, Roscommon arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o'c. Burial afterwards in St Coman's Cemetery. Family time on Monday morning please.
