Abbey College Grad Mass update

A concerned group of students and their parents have organised their own Graduation Mass for 7pm last evening in Ballinafad Church. I have been told there was no requirement to wear schoold uniforms.
The proprietors of the Mayfly Inn next to the church provided free tea and sandwiches to parents AND pupils after the 7pm mass.

Abbey College Grad Mass cancelled

Whether it is the misguided work of pranksters, a disenchanted student or plain vandalism, it is sad to note that once again, Abbey Community College has been smeared with paint. Yesterday's planned Graduation Mass for Leaving Cert students was cancelled. It is equally sad to note that a Garda presence had to be called on, presumably to help identify the culprit or culprits. I will not 'dignify' the culprit with an 'after' photograph of the deed.
Additionally, someone has posted a photo of the college on the Property website  'Done Deal' suggesting that the college building is for sale.

King House - a cancellation

Jason wrote: Unfortunately, "Losha", a children’s show, scheduled for 30th May has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. It was featured in our Event and Information Guide 2014 so we’re just trying to let people know.
