Vote for the candidates of your choice between 7am and 10pm. Those eligible will have the opportunity to vote in this area for candidates in the Boyle Municipal District as well as nominated European Election candidates.

N4 Boyle/Ardcarne Speed Limit Order

Notice has been given that Roscommon County Council has made a Road Works Speed Limit Order to apply a Road Works Speed Limit of 60km/h on the N4 National Primary Route.
The N4 from a point 236 metres east of its junction with local road L50605 in the townland of Rockingham Demesne to a point 358 metres north-west of its junction with local road L5131 in the townland of Drumharlow.
The Road Works Speed Limit Order will apply from 15th May, 2014 for the duration of the works subject to a maximum period of six months.

Boyle GAA - Eoin Lavin

It has become necessary to postpone until a later date the unveiling and blessing of a commemorative seat in the Abbey Park in memory of young Boyle footballer the late Eoin Lavin. It was scheduled to take place on Sunday next in conjunction with an O’Rourke Cup game between Boyle and Strokestown. The game itself has had to be postponed, so it has been decided to defer the unveiling and hold it in conjunction with another game.
 

Irish Water - exemptions for Co Roscommon users


Irish Water says a special exemption should be made by the Commission of Energy Regulation when introducing water charges in Co. Roscommon, and that of the 1.8 billion euro is being invested in the national water network removing boil water notices in places like Boyle and Castlerea will be a priority.
