'Four seasons' of weather will sweep across the country this week, with the forecast ranging from gales and heavy rain to unbroken blue skies.
Repossession orders in Co Roscommon so far this year
Courts Service figures show that a total of 25 repossession orders were granted in Roscommon since the beginning of this year, with 16 family homes, four buy-to-let, and five on unspecified properties.

Strong winds forecast
Met Éireann is warning of strong winds over the next 24 hours. The forecasting body has said gusts of up to 100kms per hour can be expected in exposed areas. The yellow weather warning is in place for the entire country until 3pm on Monday afternoon.
Deerfolk and a Dome
Jenny Jessop (aka Jennifer O'Dowd) spent five weeks at home with us in Boyle and returned to Melbourne during last week with her husband Tim and their three children. She is obviously a very talented Boyle person. Jenny has made hundreds of Deerfolk, placed them in various locations and photographed them with very amusing accompanying text.

• May 15th: Massive Clean Up, meet on The Crescent at 6.30pm. We are asking for 2hrs to do a blitz of all approach roads. Please come out and help, bags and gloves provided and refreshments afterwards Lets get into the Community Spirit
• May 21st: Sweep Hour. We are asking every premises/business owner/tenant to come out with your brush at 12 noon and sweep the pavement ... 12 NOON in front of your premises. We will arrange the road sweeper for the following day
• Lets make this a major event!

Abbey College Students - National Award Winners
Abbey College students James Bolger, Luke Connelly and Cillian Doyle won the National Junior Category Award in Dublin Castle today following presentation of their One Good Idea Project "Change The Future" to the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland competition judges. The boys are 'over the moon' and thrilled for their teacher Mary Carr who has put in so much time and effort into the project.
