STARS IN THE MAKING - thanks to Irish Water
• Boyle Parochial School and St Joseph’s Boys National School pupils displayed their considerable talents as part of the Graduation Ceremony in St. Joseph’s School on Wednesday 24th June.
• Pupils acted in three excellent short films "Water Awareness Project “Boyle News” and “James Pond”.
• Irish Water provided sponsorship and inspiration, while Irish TV filmed and produced
• DVD's of the films will be available shortly. Get one for yourself and note the possibilities that our local schools offer our young students outside of the school curriculum.

Funeral Photos - John Joe Nerney

Burglaries
Shannonside FM report: There have been nearly a thousand burglaries in the Shannonside region over the past year. 528 took place in the Roscommon/Longford Garda Division, while there were 437 in the Sligo/Leitrim Garda Division.
