Congratulations to the Roscommon GAA senior players and management on their 3-17 to 1-16 win over Cavan in Round 2 of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship yesterday.
World Cycle Race champion
Leitrim’s Breifne Earley became the World Cycle Race champion in London. Out of four who began the race last year, Breifne is the only one to complete it after his competitors fell victim to injury, financial difficulties and disqualification.
