Irish trumpeter Niall O’Sullivan has firmly established himself as an accomplished performer in several styles of music. His album of classical works, jazz standards, contemporary pop and traditional Irish songs reached #1 in the Classical iTunes chart. The Niall O'Sullivan & Friends performance in King House was a delight. The standing ovation was well deserved and a tribute to the man and his accompanying group on piano, cello and guitar alongside vocalist Shona Henneberry. I believe the full house audience will look forward to having Niall O'Sullivan return to Boyle at some future date. Enjoy Niall playing the perennial favourite "Danny Boy" on YouTube ...

Boyle Arts Festival 2015 - The Cornerboys
Fans of Bluegrass Music were delighted with the return of "The Cornerboys" to this year's Boyle Arts Festival. The Corner Boys are a six piece band from Sligo with a shared passion for American music. Playing guitar, mandolin, harmonica, dobro, bass & drums, & with multi vocalists, this group delighted us with a set ranging from Honk Tonka to Blues Stomp. Choosing songs and tunes from the 1930's to now, The Corner Boys delivered an eclectic and lively session of great music.
