Update 27th September

Kieran Quinn concert, King House

P9256677

Friday 25th September: Sligo pianist Kieran Quinn gave us an excellent and most enjoyable concert featuring self-penned compositions alongside piano and general favourites from a variety if genres. With Kieran on the night were superb performers Cathy Jordan, Gerry Grennan, Joe Hunt and Nichola MacEvilly. It really was a great night and for me, Kieran will be welcome here for a similar offering whenever he chooses.

John & Orla Purcell have taken over management of the highly popular An Craoibhín Bar & Restaurant on Elphin Street. Very best 'retirement' wishes to Gerry and Phil Emmett who were the familiar and much loved faces running the business for the past number of years. They set a very high standard for quality, service and friendliness, and as they say "will be a hard act to follow"!
