Boyle Country Meats - This Weekend's Specials
TO ALL IN FEELYSTONE
Our group really enjoyed our visit to the plant and factory last week , as part of Heritage week. From the initial welcome, hosptitality, safety brief, and hi-viz jackets we knew we were about to participate in a truly educational visit to a giant in our industrial heritage. We were conscious that we were being allowed and granted a rare glimpse into a working factory and craft workshop not nomally open to the public.
It was fascinating to see the craftsmen at work, both with new and older tools , to learn about the craft of stonework and masonry, sculpting and finishing. The tour guide was just so full of information - its a pity I can't write about it on Tripadvisor - Feelystone would get ten out of ten !

Lough Key Forest Park, Co. Roscommon
Tommy Egan wrote: To whom it concerns, I have noted in a recent advertisement for your Triathlon to be held in Lough Key Forest Park addressed as Lough Key Forest Park, Carrick-on-Shannon. This is incorrect. Lough Key Forest park is in Boyle co. Roscommon and it always has been, can you please rectify your obvious mistake

September
Scenes like this realboyle photo close to the L.Key wishing chair will become familiar
In the Northern hemisphere, the beginning of the meteorological autumn is on the 1st of September. It is the start of the academic year in many countries in which children go back-to-school after the summer break, usually on or close to 1st of September. September is the ninth month of the year in the Julian and Gregorian Calendars and one of four months with a length of 30 days. September in the Northern Hemisphere is the seasonal equivalent of March in the Southern Hemisphere.
